Ordinances (City Laws), Including Zoning & Floodplain
Ordinances are the laws for the City of Three Forks. These are all codified by topic, starting with the Administration of the government, then to how we handle garbage, water and sewer rules, parking regulations, zoning, and many more. Please click the link below to visit our codified ordinances.
ORDINANCE TO BECOME LAW 12/12/2024
Ordinance #403-2024 was read into the record on 10/8/2024 at a Council public hearing, and the second reading was held on 11/12/2024. 30-days after the second reading of an ordinance, it becomes law.
Abbreviated changes to the ordinance are:
- Changing 1-hour parking limitations around the school
- Changing two 1-block sections as ONE WAY ONLY traffic
- Modifying the busses only designation from E. Neal Street
- Removing parking limitations on the 1-block areas surrounding the School parking lot on E. Neal Street and N. 2nd Avenue E.
A complete copy is posted in City Hall's window including a map. The affected streets have already had all signs changed and are posted. This change occurred in conjunction with the Three Forks School's cooperation and planning for traffic flow in the safest manner for the students after the construction/addition was complete. An electronic link to the ordinance awaiting codification will be at the top of first page in the link below.
