Board Vacancies:
The City advertises “vacancies” for all boards as terms expire, providing for the opportunity for those who would like to “toss their hat in the ring” to apply, as well as we send a letter asking the current board member if they wish to be reconsidered for another term.
- LIbrary Board of Trustees has one seat open due to a resignation. This is a five-member board, serving staggering 5-year terms. (max of 2 terms) The board sets policies and procedures for the Library and instructs the Library Director to implement those policies and procedures via programs and services provided to the resident of the City of Three Forks, Gallatin County, and out-of-district patrons who pay their annual membership. It is governed by 22-1-308, MCA and has a little more oversight/decision making authority than other boards. This board meets monthly.
If you are interested in serving on a board, please complete the board application available at City Hall or on the City’s website at www.threeforksmontana.us and return it to City Hall. If you have any questions, please feel free to call us at 285-3431.
All applications will be filed and reviewed by the Council at the time of appointments. Check back often as this is the page we will post vacancies.
